Everything you need to know about ReShot — how it works, what it fixes, and what to expect.

The product
What exactly does ReShot do to my photos?
ReShot runs your photo through a series of AI enhancement passes: perspective and lens distortion correction, sky replacement (on exteriors), exposure and colour optimisation, and 4K upscaling. All of this happens automatically — you don't need to select or instruct anything. The AI detects what each photo needs and applies the appropriate corrections.
What exactly changes — and what stays the same?
ReShot changes: lighting and exposure, colour accuracy, sky (exteriors), perspective and lens distortion, and image sharpness/resolution. It does not change: furniture, room layout, walls, windows, fixtures, or any physical element of the property. The structure and contents of the room are untouched — the AI only improves how they're presented. This means every enhanced photo remains a truthful, accurate representation of the space.
Can it actually fix a badly angled shot?
Yes — perspective correction is one of ReShot's strongest features. Converging walls, wonky verticals, and wide-angle barrel distortion from phone lenses are all corrected automatically. What it can't fix is the physical vantage point the photo was taken from — if the shot was taken from a very low, high, or extreme angle, it'll be improved but won't look as if it was taken from the ideal position. As a rule: if a professional photographer would see potential in the shot, ReShot will improve it.
What if the photo is very dark or blurry?
Dark photos respond very well to ReShot's exposure corrections — rooms that look flat and dim in the original often come back dramatically brighter and more inviting. Heavily blurred or out-of-focus shots are the one exception. We run a quality check when photos are uploaded and will flag anything that's unlikely to produce a good result before charging you a credit.
Will the room look different to how it really is?
No. Furniture, layout, walls, and room structure stay exactly as they were in the original shot. ReShot enhances lighting, colour, and perspective — it doesn't add, remove, or move anything. What buyers see is still an accurate representation of the property, just presented at its best. This is intentional: we believe listing photos should be honest.
Does it work on all types of property photos?
Yes — interiors, exteriors, kitchens, bathrooms, gardens, and commercial spaces. Sky replacement only applies to exterior shots with visible sky. Perspective correction is most noticeable in room interiors and building exteriors. The AI adapts its corrections based on what it detects in each image.
Uploading & delivery
What file formats and sizes do you accept?
We accept JPEG, PNG, and HEIC files up to 20MB per image. iPhone photos in HEIC format are converted automatically. For bulk uploads on Agency plans, you can upload ZIP files containing multiple images at once.
How long does it actually take?
Single photos are typically processed and delivered in 2–5 minutes. Bulk orders of 10+ photos take 15–30 minutes in total. You'll receive an email with a download link the moment your photos are ready — you don't need to stay on the page.
How are the finished photos delivered?
By email with a download link. Photos are also saved in your account dashboard for 30 days so you can re-download at any time. Bulk orders come as a ZIP file. All photos are delivered as high-quality JPEG at 4K resolution.
Using the photos
Can I use these on Rightmove and Zoopla?
Yes. Full commercial licence is included with every plan. Use your ReShot-enhanced photos on Rightmove, Zoopla, OnTheMarket, in property brochures, on your website, social media, or in print. There are no restrictions on how or where you use them.
Are enhanced photos compliant with property advertising standards?
Yes. ReShot enhances presentation — it corrects technical faults and improves how the existing space looks. It does not fabricate or misrepresent. Sky replacement, colour correction, and exposure adjustment are standard practice in property photography and are not considered misleading under UK advertising guidelines. Virtual staging (an optional add-on) should be labelled as virtually staged when used in listings.
Is virtual staging legal to use in property listings?
Yes — with one condition: virtually staged photos must be clearly labelled as such in the listing. UK advertising standards and the Property Ombudsman Code of Practice require that any image which doesn't reflect the actual state of the property is identified. Standard practice is to add a caption like "Virtually staged for illustrative purposes." The room layout, size, and structure in the photo are always real — only the furniture is added digitally.
Are my photos used to train your AI?
No. Your photos are processed to produce your enhanced results and then stored temporarily for delivery. They are not used to train AI models without your explicit consent. We have no interest in building a dataset from client property photos — and we're transparent about this in our privacy policy.
Who owns the photos after enhancement?
You do. The original photos are yours and the enhanced versions are yours. ReShot does not claim any rights over the images you upload or the results we produce. We store photos temporarily for delivery purposes and delete originals within 30 days.
Pricing & billing
Is the first photo really free?
Yes — one free enhancement, no card required. We don't ask for payment information upfront. Upload a photo, get the result, and then decide whether you want to continue. If you do, you can top up credits or start a plan from your account.
Can I cancel my plan at any time?
Yes. Cancel from your account settings at any time — no phone calls, no forms, no exit fees. You'll retain access to your plan until the end of the current billing period.
What happens if I'm not happy with a result?
We'll re-process it for free or refund the credit — no questions asked. Our satisfaction rate is 98.3%, but that 1.7% matters to us. If the result isn't what you expected, email hello@reshot.co.uk with your order and what you'd like changed. We'll either run it again with adjusted settings or return the credit to your account, whichever you prefer. There's no form, no waiting, and no arguments.
